Geneva, Switzerland
Geneva, world capital of the "Haute Horlogerie" (fine watchmaking), is an attractive city both in summer and winter. Its lake, shopping streets and Swiss landscapes make Geneva an ideal summer destination, while its proximity to the Alps and Jura slopes makes the city a practical arrival point to reach the many Swiss or French ski resorts in winter.
Geneva, "the smallest metropolis in the world", is located at the extreme west of Switzerland and shares a border with France. Geneva is a French-speaking city in the Canton of Geneva, situated in the bay where the Rhône exits Lake Geneva. The city is also known as the "Capital of Peace" for hosting both the European headquarters of the United Nations and the main headquarters of the Red Cross.
The main attractions include the lake and its 140-metre "Jet d'Eau" (water fountain). The city's highest point is Saint-Pierre Cathedral, located high up in the old town. Geneva is also known for its congresses, trade shows, Grand Théâtre and Geneva Opera. Climb Mount Salève, just nearby, to enjoy a splendid view of the city, the lake and the Jura.
GENEVA AIRPORT
Located approximately 20 minutes north of the city centre, Geneva Cointrin Business Aviation Airport (GVA/LSGG) is open from 6:00 AM to 9:59 PM every day. Passengers can relax in the lounges of Tag Aviation or Jet Aviation before boarding their private jet.
After Paris, Geneva is Europe's second-largest hub for private jets, with more than 35,000 yearly business aviation movements.
With only one runway, Geneva Airport is subject to strict take-off and landing slot regulations. Passengers are invited to contact their IBC Aviation advisor to communicate their preferred departure and arrival times.
Our IBC Aviation advisors are available in Geneva to welcome you and assist with your boarding or arrival, ensuring that your entire mission unfolds smoothly.
Should no slot be available at the requested times, depending on the destination and aircraft type, it is also possible to take off from or land at Annecy or Chambéry airports.

EBACE
EBACE (European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition) takes place every year in Geneva and brings together leaders from every sector of the business aviation industry. As the only European event exclusively dedicated to business aviation, EBACE welcomes many visitors from abroad. This exhibition takes place over 3 days during the month of May at Palexpo and includes an impressive display of private jets. From the Citation Mustang Very Light Jet to the VIP Airliner, flagship aircraft and new models can be observed side by side on the Geneva tarmac.
Art Basel
Every year, Art Basel Swiss Edition opens its doors to all contemporary art enthusiasts. More than 200 galleries are present and display thousands of works representing every form of art: painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, installation, video and performance. Known as the annual meeting point of artists, collectors and cultural personalities, the event is often described as the world's most important ephemeral museum.
Montreux Jazz Festival
Every year since 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival takes place on the shores of Lake Geneva. Even though blues and jazz remain the foundations of the event, many other musical styles have joined over the editions. In previous years, music lovers have heard the pop voice of Tom Jones, the soulful rhythms of Lauryn Hill and Macy Gray, and the rock sound of Phoenix.
Geneva International Motor Show
The Geneva International Motor Show is famous for being Europe's only annual international motor show ranking among the global top five (alongside Frankfurt, Paris, Detroit and Tokyo), as recognised by the OICA (International Organisation of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers). Every year this event is highly anticipated, as Switzerland has no national automotive production. Located near Geneva Airport, visitors can easily access the event thanks to our limousine transfer service, taking them directly from their private jet to the exhibit. Every year, visitors come to admire the technological progress and new models of international manufacturers.
