Courchevel is divided into 5 villages located at different altitude. Saint-Bon, Courchevel Le Praz (1300), Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650 et Courchevel 1850. It is possible to directly ski from one village to another. 

Courchevel 1850 is the highest village of the resort and the most prestigious. Built in 1946 for leisure, it is now the winter residence of the jet set. 

Composed of private cabins, luxury hotels, and palaces, this village has made the reputation of the entire resort. Luxury stores and art galleries mix with gourmet restaurants and posh nightclub to satisfy the clients after a long ski day. 

AIRPORT AND ACCESS TO COURCHEVEL 1850

The resort can easily be reached by private jet to Geneva airport followed by a connecting 25 minutes helicopter flight.  

Geneva Airport 

With only one runway, Geneva airport is subject to slots for take-off and landing. Passengers are invited to contact their IBC Aviation representative to communicate their departure and arrival time.

Courchevel Altiport

Courchevel Altiport saw its first landing on January 31st, 1962 and has been welcoming ski lovers since then. In the 1980's, private helicopters started making their way to the resort. 

At 2007 meters high, the Courchevel 1850 mountain airfield is the highest one in Europe. The runway went from 375 to 537 meters and is 80 meters wide with an 18.5% incline. 

The airport welcomes 5'400 aircraft movement during winter and remains to this day the only shoveled mountain airfield during the winter season.

Each year Courchevel exhibits sculptures on top of slopes and transform the resort into an open-air museum. 

Courchevel, 70 years of innovation and creativity Exhibit

At the Croisette patio, visitors can admire an exhibit of photographies on the Courchevel ski resort since its creation in 1946. The exhibit highlights the forward-thinking of the resort through photographies and illustrations.

From December 23rd to 25th, Courchevel 1850 offers many animations in an enchanting setting to welcome Santa Claus. 

New Year's Eve

December 31st, Courchevel shows off its festive side through a concert, a dance party and fireworks for an unforgettable evening.

January 6th, Courchevel celebrates Russian Christmas and invite you to live like tsars for a day. 

Festival international d'art pyrotechnique (fireworks display international festival) 

Courchevel, N°1 ski resort for firework displays celebrates its 16th edition. At night, families can admire the skiing parade followed by a music and fireworks spectacle.

On February 20 and 27, a choreographed ski parade winds down a slope to the heart of the resort.
