With Christmas just around the corner, cities around the world are adorned with thousand lights and welcome visitors to stroll around and experience the holidays’magic. 

Copenhagen, Denmark

The trendy city is the perfect mix of modern feel and traditional Nordic charm. In December, Copenhagen lights up for end-of-year celebrations with Christmas markets turning the city into a winter wonderland. By the harbor, the cozy atmosphere of the Nyhavn Market invites visitors to discover local food and crafts shop. 

Shoppers can enjoy Stroget, one of the largest pedestrian street in Europe, home to many luxury shops for a high-end christmas shopping.  

At The Royal Danish Opera, La Bohème by Puccini is played until December 18th. Should you miss it, the Magic Flute by Mozart is playing until March 2019. 

In the heart of the Tivoli gardens, charming wooden houses surrounded by snow covered trees invite visitors to experience a true Nordic winter wonderland. The Christmas market is filled with local delicacies and children can enjoy numerous rides.

Milan, Italy
