What to know when booking your first private jet flight?

What information should you communicate to your charter broker? 

To obtain a quotation as precise as possible, you should communicate the following details: 

• Number of passengers (adults, children, pets).
• Type of itinerary (one way, roundtrip, number of days at destination, multi-destinations).
• Airports.
• Desired departure/arrival times.
• Number of suitcases.
• Type of cabin.

Our team then filters the market to find the most adapted aircraft at a competitive price. Depending on the complexity of the flight, drawing up a quotation can take between 15/30 minutes to a few hours.*

*During the Covid-19 pandemic and based on your itinerary, we recommend you to share with our team the nationality, the residency along with the trip purpose (business or leisure) early on to allow us to verify entry procedures. 

Preparation of the flight: 

Once we receive your flight confirmation, our team ensures that all documents and flight wishes are well received: 

_ Mandatory documents: 

• Passports/ID.
• Visa.
• Other official documents needed upon entry. 

_ On-board flight wishes: 

• Catering. 
• Newspapers/magazines.
• Helicopter transfer / Limousine transfer.
• Taxi reservation.
• Hotel, Villa or tailor-made travel solutions.

Simultaneously, your flight advisor works on the operational aspects of your flight. 

Before departure: 

A few days before departure, you receive from our team a flight confirmation. This document includes: 

• Your itinerary.
• The tail number and/or flight number.
• Time of departures and arrivals.
• Flight time. 
• Name and contact information of your crew.
• Handlings (Departure and arrival terminals – contacts and addresses 
• List of passengers.

The day of the flight:

We recommend for you to arrive at the airport 15 to 20minutes prior to your planned departure. Airports usually offer private lounges in your departure handlings. Once all boarding procedures are completed (security and customs), a handling agent accompanies you directly to your aircraft. In Paris and Geneva, one of advisor welcomes and assists you upon boarding. 

After the flight: 

Upon arrival, your luggage is directly placed in your car.
