The new Falcon 5X performed a 2-hour maiden flight from Bordeaux Merignac, before the start of the flight-tests campaign next year. The aircraft can transport up to 8 passengers over a distance of 9630km to connect London City to Los Angeles, New-York to Sao Paolo, or Shanghai to Sydney. The slow speed capabilities often compared to those of turboprop open up more airports such as Aspen and London City. Its low-fuel consumption makes this aircraft a pioneer in its category.
The widest and tallest cabin in the industry is built to respect the comfort and privacy of each passenger onboard. The 28 windows provide natural light to the passengers for a calm and soothing experience. The technologic innovations of the falcon 5X allow passengers to control the lightning, the entertainement system and the volume from their seats.
The Falcon 5X entry into service is scheduled for the year 2020.
